As soon as the filter in the respective air flow level is saturated, the e3000X‘s intelligent alarm function switches fully automatically to the next lowest air flow stage and provides an acoustic alarm. When the system will only run on the lowest air flow stage it is time for a new filter. Filters can last as little as a day or last a few months depending on the volume of particulate matter in the air that the system is filtering.
