Mine is flickering, wondering if the solar battery is dead.

The A50 replacement lens has photovoltaic cells for solar recharging of the battery. The battery type is CR2450 and if your lens is flickering it likely needs to be replaced as they eventually stop recharging. It could also be the sensitivity setting needs to be adjusted as it may be getting fooled into flickering in and out of the dark state by the lights in your shop.
