No, this machine is not capable of TIG welding aluminum. In order to TIG weld aluminum, AC current and high frequency start are required. This machine only supports DC current output. In order to TIG aluminum, a dedicated AC TIG welder, or multi process machine such as the ESAB Rebel 205ic would be required.
