Is the swiss air 1/2 mask PAPR considered a loose-fitting respirator? Is facial hair acceptable when using?
Optrel Swiss Air PAPR Respirator
In Ontario, a worker with facial hair that comes between the sealing surface of a respirator the skin, cannot use a tight-fitting respirator. I am trying to source out a loose fitting PAPR that can be worn with facial hair.
Thanks

Hey there, the optrel Swiss Air half-mask PAPR is classified as a loose-fitting respirator, which makes it suitable for users with facial hair, as it does not rely on a tight seal against the face. The optrel Swiss Air PAPR provides effective protection without needing a direct seal.
