Yes, you can fit this on a hard hat. You will need Optrel Hard Hat Adapter - 5011.180 for it.

Can these be fitted to a fibre metal hard hat? Optrel Crystal 2.0 Welding Helmet
I purchased one of these about a year and ago I’m looking to take it into the field but i have to wear a hard hat. I have seen these on European style hard hats but I do not own one of those.
