ESAB 6013 (SUREWELD® 6013LV) rods are compatible with AC and DC (both polarities), ideal for light-to-medium penetration and smooth arcs. ESAB 7018 rods work with DC+ (reverse polarity) and often AC, suitable for structural applications requiring higher strength.
