Yes, ESAB Dual Shield 7100 Ultra uses DCEP (Direct Current Electrode Positive) polarity, exactly like standard solid MIG wire. However, you must switch to knurled drive rollers (flux-core rollers) to properly grip and feed the wire without crushing its softer, tubular structure.
