Harris ER90S-B3 MIG (GMAW)

 

ER90S-B3 low alloy steel MIG (GMAW) for welding 2-1/4 in. chromium-molybdenum steels used in high pressure piping and pressure vessels. Also, used for joining dissimilar combinations of chromium-molybdenum and carbon steels. Conforms to AWS 5.28, ER90S-B3.

  • General purpose MIG (GMAW) welding wire for chromium and molybdenum low-alloy steel
  • Welds 2-1/4% chromium/1% molybdenum steel alloys
  • Joining carbon steels to chromium-molybdenum steels
  • Control pre-heat, inter-pass and post heat to avoid cracking
  • Often used in high temperature and high-pressure piping vessels
