The Metabo HPT WEV 17-125 Quick Inox, 4.5"/5" Pro series Extreme Torque, Variable Speed Angle Grinder is German engineered and manufactured for durability, safety, and productivity in industrial grinding, cutting, beveling, deburring , brushing, finishing, and polishing applications on specialty materials such as stainless steels. The powerful LongLife 14.5 Amps, AC, Variable Speed 2,000-7,600 RPM motor delivers two times more torque than standard grinders for faster material removal and polishing with up to 20% higher overload capacity for ultimate durability. The electronic features include Soft Start, Metabo's VTC (Vario Tacho Constamatic) Speed Stabilization for ultimate productivity, and electronic Overload Protection. For cooler operation and extended longevity in demanding working environments the patented motor includes: unobstructed rear air intake, optimized internal air flow, and epoxy coated copper windings that extend outside of the field coil for advanced heat dissipation and protection from abrasion.
