This COAST headlamp features Dual Optic technology, which combines two powerful white LEDs with COAST's patented Ultra View Flood Beam and BULLS-EYE™ Spot Beam optics.

The flood optics deliver a wide and even circle of light, perfect for illuminating large areas. This wide-angle illumination is designed to eliminate dark rings that are common with traditional lights, providing even and clear illumination across the entire field.

The spot optics produce an intense, focused beam of light, ideal for drawing attention to specific points in the distance.
In addition to the optics mentioned above, which provide flexible and powerful lighting with the white LEDs, this headlight is equipped with two additional colored LEDs that give the optics a two-tone red and green beam.

The red LED is ideal for map reading and orientation in the dark, as its bright but glare-free light is easily noticeable and does not impair night vision.

The green LED is perfect for situations where you need to maintain your night vision or want to remain discreet, such as: B. when hunting, fishing or in astronomy, where a less intrusive light is preferred.
With four different light settings - flood high, flood low, spot and a combined flood spot - and two additional LEDs - this headlamp offers you the ultimate control and adaptation to any situation.
A special feature is the integrated “memory button”, which remembers your last setting. This means that when you turn the light off and on again, it will automatically restore the last used light setting, making for a hassle-free and user-friendly experience.
The lamp head is also tiltable, so the light beam can be tilted up, forward and down - exactly in the direction you need.
The light is attached to a reflective and breathable headband. The headband is adjustable and has 2 narrow silicone strips, making the FLX40R also compatible with helmets.
The light is charged via the integrated COAST Zithion battery. When fully charged, the width suits you Light cone (flood) available at the lowest light level for up to 6 hours.
The FLX40R is made from the highest quality materials. It is IP55 rated for dust and water resistance and tested and rated to ANSI/FL1 standards.
